The concept for Copper Innovations was conceived in the early 2000s, when I was doing business as Architect Roofing – a “high-end” roofing company specializing in all facets of roofing from shingle and slate to cedar and tile. Through the years, as a roofing contractor, I noticed a growing number of homes being designed with a European-style country theme, with many copper accents being added. Having a background in metal fabrication and a passion for art, I decided that this was an excellent opportunity to create my own line of architectural copper accents.

That opportunity became reality in 2004, when Copper Innovations was founded and I began fabricating ornamental copper items for our current roofing projects. It was our high quality and low-cost formula that drove local builders and homeowners to begin requesting copper products directly from us, and as the demand grew, I began investing more time and energy on the fabrication and design aspects.

Integrity, knowledge of the products, reputation and long-term relationships quickly enabled us to begin turning over all manner of metal products – not just copper – on a regular basis. These are the attributes that are the buildings blocks for Copper Innovations.

As a metal artisan, my true enjoyment comes from the love and desire for creating unique and practical designs. When a client has an original idea of something they would like created, we work very closely with them. We can fabricate almost any custom architectural item to your design and specifications. Whether it be in person, via the Internet or by phone conversations, let us help make your visions a reality.

Customers we first met in 2004 continue to rely on us today for beautifully designed and expertly crafted items for their homes. We thank all of them for their trust, and invite you to join the ever-growing Copper Innovations family.

We are proud members of the following organizations: Lake Norman Home Builders Association, National Association of Home Builders, the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce, the Mooresville-South Iredell Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau.
